APPLICATION<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Always make a test on a small hidden portion of the substrate before applying.
\n\u2022 Any cracks shall be preliminarily repaired with appropriate mortars or mixtures, depending on the kind of substrate.
\n\u2022 The humidity content should be less than 12% to a depth of 1cm.
\n\u2022 The surface to be treated must be clean, without traces of dust, dirt, oil, efflorescences, mold and lichens or old painting.
\n\u2022 For optimal cleaning of the substrate we recommend the use of a selective micro air-abrasion with IBIX SPECIAL CLEANING system to remove any residue of dirt, spores, mold and old paints. In case of the presence of mold, mosses or lichens the support must be pre-treated with an eco-friendly water-based product, ESSENZIO, mixture of essential oils in synergy with each other, mainly: extract of oregano (Origanum vulgare) and thyme (Thymus vulgaris). In case of saline efflorescence, we recommend one or more extraction cycles after hand brushing with DESAL paste.<\/p>\n

TECHNICAL FEATURES<\/strong>

\n\u2022 Significantly reduces the adhesion of chewing gums, which can be easily removed from floors treated with I-PROTECT AS.
\n\u2022 It offers excellent graffiti resistance, avoiding the absorption of paints in the support allowing it to be removed with ecological BIO REMOVER, VEGEGRAF by IBIX BIOCARE. After removal, hydrophobic protection is preserved.
\n\u2022 Reduces surface degradation by avoiding the adhesion of atmospheric contaminants to treated support. A surface treated with I-PROTECT AS will remain moisture vapour permeable.
\n\u2022 Resists moss and lichen formation.
\n\u2022 Offers excellent protection against urine by facilitating stain removal.
\n\u2022 It helps to reduce ordinary maintenance on the treated surface and its costs.
\n\u2022 Will prevent surfaces from deteriorating through repeated \u201cFreeze\/Thaw\u201d cycles.
\n\u2022 Keeping masonry dry, contributes to maintain better performance of packages or thermal insulation application cycles.
\n\u2022 Easy to apply to any surface and you can use the surface within 1 hour of application.
\n\u2022 It has a high penetration capacity of approx. 10mm. Factor that leads I-Protect W to be classified in Class I among hydrophobic sealers (BS EN 1504-2)
\n\u2022 Suitable for ground surfaces with high levels of foot traffic.<\/p>\n

INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong>
\nEnsure application is from bottom to top on vertical surfaces taking care not to let the product run. Any subsequent applications must be applied \u201cwet on wet\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u2022 I-PROTECT AS<\/strong> is not effective when applied on non-absorbent surfaces.<\/p>\n
